Honda Accord tire size on the current (11th-gen) car is two stamps. LX, SE and EX-L Hybrid wear 225/50R17. Sport, Sport-L and Touring Hybrid wear 235/40R19. Honda did the plus-size at the factory. Your job is to match the one on the door, not the one on a nicer trim you saw in a photo.
Stock sizes by trim
These are the 2023-on North American sizes from Honda's own spec sheets. Earlier Accords used 225/50R17 and 235/40R19 in some years and 235/45R18 in others. A 2018 Touring is not this table.

Why the sticker beats the chart
Hybrids and gas cars share sizes by trim, not by powertrain. An EX-L Hybrid and an LX gas car can share the 17-inch stamp. A Sport Hybrid does not. The placard knows which one you bought.
A Honda Accord can leave the factory on more than one size. Export markets, mid-year packages and previous-owner plus-sizes all disagree with a chart. Read the driver-door placard. Match width, aspect ratio and rim together.
Swapping to a different size
225/50R17 is about 25.9 inches tall. 235/40R19 is about 26.4. That is inside 3%, which is why Honda offers both on the same platform. Width is the bigger change. If you put Sport wheels on an LX, you are also putting a wider tire in a well that started narrower. Compare them: tire size comparison.
The 18-inch gap
Some earlier Accords and some markets used 235/45R18. That size sits between the two current stamps on diameter and is a common plus-one off the 17. It is not on the current US spec sheet. If your sticker says 235/45R18, believe the sticker, not this year's brochure.
