Tire size by vehicle is the door-jamb question written as a chart. The pages below list documented North American OEM stamps for the models people actually search, with wheel diameter and calculated overall height. We do not have a VIN decoder and will not pretend one. The sticker on the driver door is still the size that belongs on that car.

Honda

Honda ships several sizes inside one model line. A Civic LX and a Civic Sport are not the same tire. Start on the model page, then read the placard.

Toyota

Toyota is the same story: the LE and the XSE rarely share a stamp. The 2025 Camry even dropped back to a 16-inch wheel on the LE, which is a different height conversation than the 19-inch XSE.

Trucks and Jeeps

This is where the catalog on this site earns its keep. F-150, Tacoma, Wrangler and Ram 1500 owners are the people who type a stamp into a calculator instead of rebuying the same size. Diameter and the 3% check matter here.

What these pages will not do

They will not tell you the tire on a specific VIN. They will not tell you whether a 35 clears a stock Tacoma. They will tell you the stamps that left the factory on a given trim, and the calculated diameter of each, so you can compare a candidate on the tire size comparison against the size you actually have.

If the model is not listed, type the sidewall stamp into the tire size calculator. The arithmetic does not care which badge is on the grille. The how to read tire size page is the walk when the stamp itself is the confusing part.

A chart is a starting list

Export cars, fleet packages and a previous owner who already plus-sized the vehicle all land off this table. If the sticker and this page disagree, the sticker is right.

How do I find the tire size for my car?

Read the driver-door jamb placard, or the stamp on the outboard sidewall. The model pages on this site list common OEM sizes so you know what to look for.

Can I look up tire size by VIN?

Not here. VIN fitment data is not ours to republish. The door sticker is free and is what the speedometer was calibrated for.

Do all trims of a model use the same tire size?

Usually no. LX and Sport, LE and XSE, Sport and Rubicon are different wheels. That is why each page is a table, not a single number.

What if my model is not listed?

Use the calculator with the stamp on the tire or the placard. Geometry is the same on an unlisted car as on a Civic.
