Honda tire size

Stock sizes across the lineup. Check the door sticker before you buy.

This Honda tire size chart lists the stock tire sizes Honda fits across the current and recent lineup, from the Civic and Accord to the CR-V, Pilot, Odyssey, Ridgeline and the Prologue EV. Wheel diameter and calculated overall diameter sit with each stamp. The same model line ships several sizes depending on trim, year and market, so treat the table as a map of what Honda bolts on, not a promise about your car.

Stock sizes by model

Every row is a documented North American OEM fitment. Overall diameter is calculated from the stamp, so it stays consistent with the tire size calculator. Dedicated pages exist for the four searches that actually have volume: Civic, Accord, CR-V and Pilot.

Honda OEM tire sizes by model line and common trim. Geometry is calculated from the stamped size.

Why the sticker beats the chart

A CR-V LX rides on 17-inch wheels. A Sport Touring rides on 19s. A Canadian Civic can carry a size the US build never did. The tire that fits your Honda is printed on the driver-side door jamb, and it is the only number a shop has to match. Use this page to know what to look for, then read the sticker.

Rim size is not the whole answer

215/55R16 and 235/40R18 both fit a Civic and both are Honda parts. They are different tires. Match width, aspect ratio and rim together, or the speedometer and the ride both drift.

Swapping to a different size

Keep the new overall diameter within about 3% of the stamp you have, and treat width as a separate clearance question. The tire size comparison draws both on one picture. The plus sizing page is the even-keeled version of that change, the one Honda already did when it put a Sport on 18s and an LX on 16s.

Pilot and Passport owners in the messier trims land on 18- or 20-inch alternatives that overlap the truck catalog. The tire size chart is a useful second table. The tire diameter chart catches a 29 or 30 inch swap by height.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most common Honda tire size?

There is no single answer. Civic runs 215/55R16 to 265/30R19. CR-V and Pilot add 235/65R17, 235/60R18, 235/55R19, 255/60R18 and 255/50R20.

Do all Civics use the same tire size?

No. A current LX bolts on a 215/55R16. Sport and Si step to a 235/40R18. Type R is a 245/30R20 (FK8) or 265/30R19 (FL5).

Why does the same Honda have two tire widths?

Honda fits different trims with different wheels. LX gets a narrower, taller sidewall for ride. Sport or Touring gets wider, lower-profile rubber on a bigger wheel.

Can I put a bigger size on my Honda without changing the wheels?

A modest width change on the same rim is usually fine. Changing the diameter more than about 3% affects the speedometer and often rubs. Read the door sticker and use the calculator first.

Do Honda hybrids use different tires?

Fitment follows trim, not powertrain. A Civic Sport hybrid and a Civic Sport gas car share a size. A Civic LX and a Civic Sport do not, hybrid or not.
