Honda CR-V tire size walks up an inch of wheel and down five points of aspect ratio as you move from LX to Sport Touring. Width stays 235. That is a textbook plus-size. The current sixth-generation CR-V (2023+) is the table below. A 2018 LX is a different car.
Stock sizes by trim
Honda's 2025 spec sheet puts 235/65R17 on LX and on some Sport gas cars with steel wheels, 235/60R18 on EX, EX-L and Sport Hybrid, and 235/55R19 on Sport Touring Hybrid. Hybrid vs gas does not pick the size. The wheel package does.

Why the sticker beats the chart
CR-V owners mix these up because the badge looks the same in a parking lot. The placard is on the driver door. If a previous owner already mounted Touring wheels on an LX, the sidewall and the placard will disagree. Recalibrate or go back to the placard size.
A Honda CR-V can leave the factory on more than one size. Export markets, mid-year packages and previous-owner plus-sizes all disagree with a chart. Read the driver-door placard. Match width, aspect ratio and rim together.
Swapping to a different size
235/65R17 is about 29.0 inches. 235/60R18 is about 29.1. 235/55R19 is about 29.2. Honda held diameter almost still and spent the change on wheel and sidewall. If you want a different look, stay on that ladder. If you want a taller tire, you are leaving the factory ladder and you need the comparison plus a well check.
Same width, three sidewalls
Keeping 235 mm of width is how Honda avoids a fender conversation between trims. You should too, unless you have measured the well. The aspect ratio page is the middle number on its own, which is the only number Honda is moving here.
